Hi Giovanni, you’ve been on our screens a while. How did you get into dancing?

I was seven years old and I was watching Come Dancing on TV and fell in love with the chemistry of the dancers. Born To Win is like the story of my life, so if you want to know more about me, this is the show for you!

What has been your career highlight to date?

Strictly! It changed my life. I used to compete but when you dance in a theatre, it is completely different. You feel like a celebrity.

Tell us a secret about Strictly…

There are no secrets but the glamour is true.

How is your tour going – what has been the highlight so far?

It has been amazing performing to sold out audiences who give a standing ovation every night and meeting new people; the fans who come to stage door to meet me after the show – that is the best part.

What can we expect from your new show, Born to Win?

Sexiness, jokes – people say I’m a comedian – I can be a bit silly, and good dancing!

How do you prepare for a show?

I don’t! I don’t treat it like a job, I just go there and enjoy it. Every night feels like a new story because of the new audience.

What do you want from your G Live audience?

Be loud and naughty Guildford! Bring the energy. I’ll give just as much back.

What message do you have for your fans?

I love you all. Come see the show and say hi!
